Unique triple mode of action, Mast cell stabilizer, H1 receptor blocker & Eosinophil inhibiton, Ocular Allergies (Allergic Conjunctivitis), Ocular allergy is an IgE-mediated hypersensitivity reaction affecting the conjunctiva.
Common forms:

• Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (SAC)

• Perennial allergic conjunctivitis (PAC)

• Vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) – more severe, common in children/young adults

• Atopic keratoconjunctivitis (AKC)

Symptoms

• Intense itching 

• Redness

• Watery discharge

• Burning / irritation

• Puffy eyelids

• Papillae on conjunctiva (especially in VKC)

Pathophysiology (Simplified)

1. Allergen exposure → IgE activation on mast cells

2. Mast cell degranulation → Histamine release

3. Symptoms: itching, redness, hyperemia

4. Chronic stage → inflammatory mediators (cytokines, eosinophils)
